The insureds were selling the property and the purchaser's lawyer discovered that there was a legal description defect whereby our insureds' land and the neighbouring lands overlapped by approximately 8 inches.

Action: We retained the insureds' lawyer to correct the problem. It was necessary for our insureds to execute a quit claim deed in relation to the 8-inch strip and a reference plan to be filed with the Land Titles Office.
