The municipality advised the insureds that they must have the basement inspected for compliance with the Building Code and must obtain the proper permits.
Action:
We advised the insured that coverage was available for the lack of permit for the basement renovation under their policy and paid the cost of obtaining the necessary permits to bring the basement in compliance with the Building Code.
